Steps to Reproduce

1) Go to https://www.messenger.com 2) While the site is still loading, tap three dot button on the button right to open the menu and tap "Desktop site"

Expected Behavior

It should show the desktop version of the site.

Actual Behavior

It stops loading and shows a blank page. Refresh it and still get the same result.

Hi and thanks for your report. I was able to reproduce the above mentioned issue on the latest Fenix version (1.0.1926, 6/27) using a Samsung Galaxy S8+ (Android 8.0.0). The issue is not limited just to the site mentioned in the description. If the "Desktop site" option is used while a site has no content loaded (i.e. the page is blank) the tab will remain in that state even if the tab is refreshed.
