Same issue with Firefox 61.0.2.
The log is not a trace log. Please see https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/testing/geckodriver/geckodriver/TraceLogs.html in how to generate one.
Also please show the source code so we can see what the test is doing. Btw. how and when do you exit Firefox?
Morning,
Sorry for my late answer, I just realized that I was terminating firefox properly, ie: browser.quit()
.
But I'm looking for a method to detect when user is closing firefox instance in order to run a browser quit.
Do you have idea or way to do it?
Thanks
Basically a user should not interfere with a running automated test. Especially not closing the browser which is under control of Selenium and geckodriver. But whenever this happens geckodriver looses its connection to Firefox and report an error.
Given the current information this bug is not valid. As such I'm going to close it.

Dear support,
I noticed after running my session and closed firefox, I see defunct process and temporary files not removed in /tmp As below the processes running with the session opened
After I closed properly Firefox (select exit), it still remains a defunct process (parent), and the directory in tmp is still there: tmp/rust_mozprofile.i33tH7sv9aOJ
Could you please let me know how we can fix this?
Thanks for your help.
