Rename to mod_authnz_persona? #18

Since the module doesn't do only authentication (determine what username corresponds to the user of the current session) but also authorization (determine if that user can access a specific resource -- in our case, particularly with things like Require persona-idp), should we rename it?

This seems to be a thing, see mod_authnz_ldap for example.

Plus, it would be nice to do this sooner rather than later (i.e. ideally before more widespread announce on the ml).

djc commented 11 years ago

On the other hand, it looks like mod_authnz_ldap is currently the only one named that way.

I hate naming things. +1 to mod_authnz_persona

djc commented 11 years ago

Presumably you mean mod_authnz_persona? ;)

GAH. I edited my comment so the world will never know what an idiot I am.

@gozer-mozilla would be nice to have your opinion here, if you have one.
