Notes

This is the most important plugin for me in Firefox, this is THE reason why I moved from Chrome to Firefox. Please continue developing this plugin and add new features.

Context

Multi-Account Containers Version:6.1.0 Operating System + Version: Ubuntu 16 Firefox Version: 67.0.4

Actual behavior

Forgets logins (probably cookies)

Expected behavior

Remembers logins

Steps to reproduce

  1. Login to a site.
  2. Close all windows in the container for this domain.
  3. Open this site again.

Same test without container doesn't logout me from the site.

Big thanks to the plugin developers!

Which site is it, or is it all sites?

safqwf commented 4 years ago

I tested it with multiple AWS accounts in different containers.

STR:

Result: Session in container is lost

EDIT: I can not reproduce this bug anymore, in my case the problem got solved through configuring the extension "Cookie Autodelete" right (had to do my settings per-container, which wasn't the case before).

gkaklas commented 4 years ago

@roman-io Are you using "Cookie Autodelete"? I too had a similar problem because I was using "Cookie Autodelete", and it was fixed when I disabled the option "Enable Support for Firefox's Container Tabs".

If no, do you still have this problem with a newer version of Multi-Account Containers? Is it resolved when disabling it?

From opening post https://github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers/issues/1459#issue-466832364:

  1. Login to a site.
  2. Close all windows in the container for this domain.
  3. Open this site again.

Hint:

When a site is associated with a container, I can not reproduce the issue.

I don't have an Amazon Web Services account.

Ten months have passed without a response from the opening poster.

Would someone like to close this issue? Thank you.
