5 years ago I've experienced something similar. I don't know what triggers it but every so often when I click on a link I've associated with a specific container, the redirect request page doesn't work. You can't click on either button to open it in the right or current container. If I reload the page sometimes the buttons work. Again I haven't figured out the triggers are yet

I receive lots of emails from Unity Technologies (the company of the game development engine), and they often contain a link like this:

Now, if I open it clicking from Thunderbird, it doesn't work, it opens a page, does the login, switches to the appropriate group and then reverts to the initial Unity home page.
BUT
if I open the appropriate group (Work) and paste the link inside, it works properly.
I also tried to deactivate all firewalls, and it's not a thing about firewalls. Of course, deactivating the extension makes everything work appropriately.
I don't know what to do. Maybe just one of the redirects tries to change the Group while loading the page but... that probably should also happen when pasting the link in a tab of the correct group. So that's not the case as well.
Pasting the link on a "neutral" tab, it goes to Unity's home page. Pasting it on the "Work", appropriate, tab, ends up in the correct page.
Is there anything I can do? It's not the browser nor the firewall, I'm pretty sure Sync Tab Groups is, on my machine, configured in a way that doesn't handle well this scenario.
Since we're talking about THE store about videogame development, the Unity Asset Store, it's kind of an important site to have it working.
