Doest work synchronization #2344

Open K4leri opened 2 years ago

K4leri commented 2 years ago

Actual behavior

When opened on a new browser, the user logs into the Firefox account, synchronization is in progress and all extensions are installed. The multi-account container extension does not sync data.

Expected behavior

Information located inside containers on one computer was transferred during synchronization to another computer so that you did not have to refill all the necessary containers

Steps to reproduce

  1. Dont get what it is

Hi,

  1. Type about:addons in the URL bar
  2. Go to "Extensions"
  3. Click on "Firefox Multi-Account Containers" in the list
  4. Select the "Preferences" tab

Is the "Enable Sync" option is checked?

Sync doesn't work. Windows 11 21H2 Firefox 102.0 Container 8.0.7 Add-ons: uBlock and Multi-container. I have 2 laptops, both using the same environment as above. I have been syncing passwords and history between the 2 laptops for a year no problem, but I haven't been syncing multi-containers. I recently turned on sync for multi-container. But no syncing was done.

Same here. Checked all settings an both PCs but still no syncing.

I took am having problems syncing. Containers will not sync any changes from 2 weeks ago, sync pulls in an old copy on clean installs, existing installs. Bookmarks and settings sync fine though.

I've been hoping this would be fixed for over a year. I've never had the sync feature work (and, yes, it's enabled on all my Firefox installs). Does anyone actually have it working?
