Firefox Multi-Account Containers lets you keep parts of your online life separated into color-coded tabs that preserve your privacy. Cookies are separated by container, allowing you to use the web with multiple identities or accounts simultaneously.
[X] I updated to the latest version of Multi-Account Container and tested if I can reproduce the issue
[X] I searched for existing reports to see if it hasn't already been reported
Step to reproduce
Starting from the default container and with the extension uBlock origin lite enabled:
ensure that x.com has it's own assigned container
load, for example duckduckgo.com and search for "x.com"
click on a x.com domain result
The behavior cannot be reproduced with the uBlock Origin Lite extension disabled. Not sure whether a uBlock issue or a multi-account-container issue. Happy to be guided.
Actual behavior
The observed behavior is that the link is opened both in the current tab and a new tab with the appropriate container.
Expected behavior
The expected behavior would be that a new tab is opened in the appropriate container
Additional informations
MacOS 14.3.1
Firefox 123.0
uBlock Origin Lite 2024.2.14.104
multi-account-container 8.1.3
