Always open this tab in container causes flipping between containers if site already allocated to another container #2638

Before submitting a bug report

Step to reproduce

  1. Assigned a site to "always open in container" called "News"
  2. Navigated to the site and confirmed it is using the "News" container
  3. Wanted to change the container the site opens in, so created a new container called "Media"
  4. Navigated to the site and again selected "always open in container" but selected the new "Media" container.

Actual behavior

  1. Site starts in a loop flipping between the "News" and "Media" containers until either tab is closed or one of the containers are deleted.
  2. If site is opened in a new tab it starts looping between them again.

Expected behavior

Site should automatically remove from existing container and be added to the new container.

Additional informations

Additionally if I select "Manage Site List" the site doesn't appear in the "News" container (only in the "Media" container) despite it being stuck in a loop suggesting it is in both lists.

I can confirm this bug as well.

Can confirm this issue. I have Multi Account Containers installed on three different devices and have this issue on all three. I read there is supposed to be a "Manage site preferences" button in the extension settings, but none appears for me on any device. Please assist.
