Release version 3.9

When all the dependencies have been fixed we will release a new version.

Steps to do:

• [x] Update changelog
• [x] Bump version to 3.9 and update application versions
• [x] Create v3.9 tag on the landed commit
• [x] Release to AMO

PR #226 got merged so we are good to proceed with the 3.9 release.

The new version of the extension has been approved and is available on AMO now.
