Rendering of certain Font Characters is not correct and is displayed partially #13052

Attach (recommended) or Link to PDF file here: The Letter H shows up as l l , without the horizontal Line in certain PDF Documents when opened in mozilla. Adobe and chrome displays correctly. The sample document will be uploaded by the client within couple of hours. Request you to wait.

Configuration:

Steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Open the sample document which will be attached shortly in mozilla. 2.Address Line has HAHAHAHA Lane displayed as l lAl lAl lAl lA Lane

What is the expected behavior? (add screenshot)

What went wrong? (add screenshot)

This is an open source bug tracker, for a software project that you're able to use for free, and many of the people that you interact with here are unpaid volunteers. Hence please respect other peoples time, by waiting until you've gathered all of the necessary information before opening an issue!

This file renders fine for me on Linux with the latest PDF.js version at https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html.

@timvandermeij Can you please confirm if you are able to see the horizontal line in H present in the Borrower value. I could see the horizontal line in other values(such as Attention , ADDRESS) with the latest pdf.js link, But not the BORROWER Field. It shows as BORROWER: AAAAAAAAA | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | AAAAAAAA whereas chrome shows as BORROWER: AAAAAAAAA HHHHHHHH AAAAAAA

The original description above talks about the address line, so I looked at that. This is why it's important to provide all requested information, including screenshots, so please keep that in mind.

I do see that the borrower line does not render as in other viewers like Okular, so I'll reopen this.

@timvandermeij Thank you tim. Client has changed the text to borrower field in the attached pdf. The Document provided to us was little different . Apologies for the mislead.

@timvandermeij Any update on this tim? Its been over 9 months we raised this ticket. I understand you would update when this is fixed. Just wanted to know if you have plans of fixing this in near future as one of our customer is waiting for this fix. We need to provide an update to them.
