Hidden full screen window can't be unhidden #2869

[This is Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard), FF 19.]

When I let pdf.js go full screen, then hide FF (cmd-H), go to another app, then switch back to FF, the full-screen pdf.js fails to reappear. It is listed in FF's Window menu, but cannot be selected (so there is no way to view, close, or kill the window).

Unable to replicate. FF appears back by clicking icon, hitting Commad+Tab, or selecting pdf.js window from the menu. Please provide the exact steps to re-open the issue. (Either way I don't think it's a pdf.js issue, try if you can replicate that with http://html5-demos.appspot.com/static/fullscreen.html demos)

Thanks for the quick response.

You're right-- evidently not a pdf.js issue. I tried it with the fullscreen demo via the link you sent with the same results. Replicates reliably on my system with the following steps:

  1. Launch FF 19
  2. Go to http://html5-demos.appspot.com/static/fullscreen.html
  3. Click the "Toggle iframe content fullscreen" button.
  4. Click "Allow". Window goes to full screen.
  5. Type cmd-H to hide FF.
  6. Return to FF via cmd-tab or clicking FF icon: FF menu bar reappears, but no window is displayed. The Window menu shows an entry called "Fullscreen API", and it's checked but the window is not visible. Typing cmd-W (to lose the window) gets a beep as if there is no window to close.

I also tried disabling all extensions, just in case one of them was causing a problem. No change in behavior.

Thanks.
