Font and ligature selection is ugly #705

The font that is used when displaying the above pdf is pretty ghastly, and the ff ligature in "drug trafficking" is unfortunate.

The pdf looks to be fixed using ff8 and our latest code. I am closing the issue, if I overlooked anything feel free to re-open.
