Also, are there existing tasks in mozilla/browserid that should be linked here?

I don't think we have outstanding bugs in other repos.

Concretely, AMO and SUMO are two often-cited examples of sites that end users interact with, and which don't currently use Persona.

Ozten's blog got trolled on this very point:

It would help if Mozilla ate their own dog food - neither a.m.o nor b.m.o support Persona at present. If you can't convince your own organisation to use the technology then what hope do you have for the world at large?
