As an example, the new Microsoft Teams experience opens up web pages in Microsoft Edge when the user clicks on a link in a message, despite the default browser settings being set at the OS to be an alternative browser.

This setting can be changed in-app, but either shouldn't exist or should be "use default browser" by default.

this also happens in outlook (the "old" client - haven't tried the new one). default setting is edge rather than the default browser.

the setting is also buried somewhat deep IIRC, at least it took me a few minutes to find it.
