don't wait for google fonts before working with the text event #579

Using lightbeam to block google fonts means popcorn text events no longer work.

STR:

  1. install lightbeam
  2. click the lightbeam icon in the top right
  3. navigate their UI and figure out how to block google fonts
  4. load popcorn maker
  5. add a text event

Expected: a text event Actual: no text and a 0 height and width element in the bottom right
