Remixing is a way of capitalizing on other people’s prior knowledge and skills.
Because of the utility and fun in remixing, many projects in Thimble were created that were intended to be remixed.
6 remixing projects on the landing page of Thimble (and Thimble's enabling to remix published projects of users) were intended to facilitate people's better learning. Since we should be able to evaluate how much the use of remixing accelerates users' learning, we need to keep track of the history of remixing as a tree.
We can possibly extend the current data collection so that it can log the remix relation(s) for a particular project such as ancestor chain or descendant graph.
