Users are not receiving some (or all) e-mail notifications from SUMO #1993

Describe the bug This was initially filled and more details can be found in: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1204515

Lately our contributors are no longer receiving e-mail notifications from SUMO (even if they are subscribed as watchers to the event that triggers the e-mail notification to be sent) when (but not limited to):

KB article updates are performed.
KB articles are marked as ready for localization.
Forum posts.
Private messages.

SRE removed the notifications@support.mozilla.org email from SES identities - it was not a verified address and likely wasn't mailing. Trying to test if this is resolved.
