[Nightly] Tab crashes when you perform a voice search #247

Nightly 59.0a1
Voice Fill 1.3.6

[Affected Platforms]:

All Windows
All Mac

[Prerequisites]:

Have a Firefox profile with the Voice Fill experiment installed from Test Pilot experiment page (https://testpilot.firefox.com/experiments/voice-fill)

[Steps to reproduce]:

Open the browser with the profile from prerequisites and navigate to a supported website.
Click the "Voice Fill" button from the right side of the search input.
Observe the behavior.

[Expected result]:

A new recording session starts with "Warming up" overlay displayed.

[Actual result]:

The tab crashes.

[Regression]:

I've managed to narrow a regression-window in order to find out what might have caused this issue. Here are the results: Last good revision: fe2899c8ac321342b58dbbf6a32ffb07d9314509 First bad revision: b0b6a108eb5c9646bb77f314e0d785893f089900 Pushlog: https://goo.gl/w3G4co From the pushlog it seems that bug #1397793 caused this.

This issue is also reproducible with the Voice Fill 1.3.6 custom repo build.

I'm going to close this issue because it is no longer reproducible using Voice Fill v1.3.6, on latest Nightly build 59.0a1 (2017-12-14), on Windows 10 x64, Mac 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 x64.
