Please provide a short summary of the outcome of this Mozilla project #57

Neither https://github.com/mozilla/wadi/blob/master/README.md nor https://wiki.mozilla.org/Apps provide any information about any positive effects of this Mozilla initiative.

Issues are just getting closed without a trace to any outcome, as far as i can see.

Would be great is the wiki or the README would highlight some of the achievements.

@anaran It's a good point. Separately, I heard from @delapuente, who is continuing to do WADI-related work, that he may intend to continue using WADI as a name for that work. In which case it was premature for me to have closed these issues and updated the README to say that the program has ended.

Regardless, I agree that it would be useful to provide a summary of the accomplishments of the program and the reason for ending it (if indeed we have ended it). I'll think about how we might do that.

I guess there are connections to

related bugs fixed in bugzilla (how to find them?)

We used this tracking bug to track a variety of issues for WADI, so you can look at its dependency tree to get a sense of the progress that Mozilla has made on progressive web apps (which may or may not have been the result of WADI).

are there any todo lists, trello boards, etc. driven by issues in this wadi project?

The wiki apps page used to list some of the projects that the WADI team worked on, although it wasn't maintained, so the list wasn't up-to-date. Here's the second-to-last version of that page, which contains that information.
