Description

Issuing badges to credit authors for their work on academic papers

As the research environment becomes more digital, we want to test how we can use this medium to help bring transparency and credit for individuals in the publication process.

I'd like to work on this project during the global sprint later this week. Is this team working on east coast time (EDT)?

@cdersky I'm on Pacific daylight time, but I'm just a humble volunteer... not sure about the leaders' time zones.

That's great news! Abby is on EDT and I am on BST === GMT+1.

An additional gihub repo for this project can be found at badgr-client. Labels as 'good first task' and 'hints provided' should be best to get started.
