Description

PaperHive is the coworking hub for researchers. Our goal is to simplify research communication and transform reading into an active process of productive collaboration.

We just launched our beta, so our next step is to encourage the creation of virtual reading clubs and reach out to already existing ones. Reading groups facilitate open communication among researchers independent of their discipline and location and foster the exchange of knowledge and ideas among experts. Also, a process of peer review education takes place, because readers are encouraged to analyze and discuss in even greater depth findings, opinions, and procedures. The reading groups are an important part of the self-improving research landscape.

We would love to get together and share thoughts on how to best encourage the establishment of virtual reading clubs, and how to reach researchers most effectively.

Hey @andrenarchy - @joeyklee is hosting the Vancouver site for the sprint. If you haven't synced up already, he might be able to help you get involved at that site!

joeyklee commented 8 years ago
