AWS CDN Cost Comparison #1346

Pull out cost data from email chain, socialize with enough folks that we have confidence in costs.

@duallain At your leisure can you take a look at the spreadsheet. Based on the emails I think everything is correct. The only lingering concern I have is that we might have an unintended impact on say Travis's bill. I think this could happen due to a relationship between average request size and free get requests, or possibly something else.

On our side this looks like a small impact but I'd like to make sure Travis does not get any surprise bills. Is there someone on the IT sre team who could help sanity check this, or do you feel Amazon's response sufficiently addressed this and that we are good to go?

Looks like we missed a flat fee for legacy ssl support, which is $600 a month (with no discounts). We had decided to do that on prod only, last I knew. We should be able to deploy a single cert.

If I recall we did the pricing check assuming the current traffic in AWS. So, fairly confident we won't consume unaccounted for capacity. I'll get a second pair of eyes anyway though, as I don't have a ton of experience pricing cloudfront specifically.
