AVS? Ughhh….another stupid pain point of credit card processing. If I’m a merchant I want the best rates but this is insane. What about if MPS offered a standard monthly processing cost based on my first three months of processing? Then it does not matter how my cards are entered and Mercury can completely throw away AVS, swiped, manual entry pain.

I think yoiu leave it optional. If they want better rates, they can go through the additional pain of providing this stuff to reduce the rates. But for a quick start guide, we leave this stuff out. It's in the API, but not required to get going.
