Any feeback? Does it bring any improvement?

@janhenke - I am not dual booting windows. I clean installed Ubuntu 15.1 about 3 days ago

@doreato does this do anything for you?

I can not find the patch I mentioned. :(

I would try with Ubuntu 15.04 (install or via live USB), to see if the problem still exists. Ubuntu 15.10 upgraded to kernel 4.* from version 3.19 (Ubuntu 15.04).

@nmalacarne Still nothing, I might just try to reinstall tonight and start from there again. I feel like this should have worked already, I don't know how to go about troubleshooting this further otherwise. I just got the sound indicator to show up top right so making progress. But still nothing is showing up in audio settings. This is the list of playback devices I get when I do "aplay -l" in terminal.

\ List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ** card 0: HDMI [HDA Intel HDMI], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

card 0: HDMI [HDA Intel HDMI], device 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

card 0: HDMI [HDA Intel HDMI], device 8: HDMI 2 [HDMI 2] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

card 1: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: ALC3263 Analog [ALC3263 Analog] Subdevices: 0/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Ok so when I use Alsamixer I noticed that HDMI is default for some reason, I don't really know how to change this but I have all my levels up otherwise.
