Thanks for the hint! I just installed it and it works great! I am running the latest Gnome on Wayland with libinput as input source and, without this script, don't have any gesture recognition in Gnome or Applications (like Chromium, Evince (pinch for zoom)) unfortunately. (NB: I'm also an Arch user)
