Merging zeekec’s fork #1

It seems that this software isn’t being maintained anymore. Therefore I’m gojng to bring together all the forks and PRs that are dotted around GitHub and merge as many things as I can. This is the first one. M key for menu is a good idea for my iOS terminal client and more time precision is always a good idea.

I have no idea what the rest of the changes do because build environment stuff isn’t my forte.
