Netflix cookies error #125

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Any time I open Front Row and open Understudy and try to access a netflix feed

What is the expected output or result?

Netflix movie or TV show

What do you see instead?

A netflix page showing that cookies must be enabled on the web browser.

So I've had some trouble...at first I tried to access netflix through
understudy with Safari 4.0.3 and I did get a video of the TV show Lost but
then it was on the wrong episode so I closed Front Row and tried to figure
out how to choose a different episode and then when I reloaded it came up
with the generic error

So I tried to do the netflix account through keychain access and followed
the steps that were listed. Still the same generic error came up. So then
I removed that error screen so that I could actually see what the problem
was and it's the red page from netflix saying that the web browser needs to
enable cookies.

So here is the weird thing...I have used Safari to watch netflix videos and
the cookies are enabled and everything but still the error comes up...so
how can I fix this?

I have the identical problem, including the fact that I was able to watch ONE
video and then I can only get the
cookie error page now.

Take a look at the wiki page on usage and the section on "Deactivating Alerts."
  After
following the directions there, are the results any more informative?

Wont fix unless there is further feedback.

I had the problem with netfix cookie screen after being able to access netfix
before. I had made changes to router enabling router firewall protection for
cookies. I removed this and was able to access netflix without a problem.
