Netflix doesn't show full screen #158

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

     Select any movie to watch.

What is the expected output or result?

Seeing the movie in full screen.

What do you see instead?

Movie shows in top 2/3 of the screen with Netflix controls at bottom of it, leaving 1/3 of screen black. Mouse pointer always jumps back to upper right hand corner, so one cannot select the Full Screen button.

Please provide any additional information below, including any relevant
URLs. If there is a crash report in [HOME]/Library/Logs/CrashReporter then
please attach it.

Wonderful program... thanks for your time and energy in creating it!

Tested full screen a few seconds ago. It does appear to work.

Very strange! Was there a recent update that fixed things?

It now works on my set up! Oh, wait. One other variable. I'm not connected
to a TV which is what I was doing before. I'll have to check that again.

Please let me know if this has been resolved for you, or if it might be related
to the aspect ration of the video (the problem reported in issue #149).

Well, this won't be a very helpful comment, but we ended up getting a Roku box
and streaming directly to the TV! Much more convenient than wading through the
cable morass to unplug the laptop and then doing all the hooking up by the
TV--and then adding the Netflix--Apple Remote complexity on top of that!

In any event, much appreciate what you all are doing. It's a great service to
the world out here!
