This is also happening to me. I have a feeling that it is also happening to
everyone else that uses Understudy too. This began happening approximately 1
week ago. Around Feb. 3rd or so.
It would seem that something has changed from the Netflix data streams. It
might be that they have changed their data structure of the XML or something
like that.

Hm. My queue is loading fine.
I'll play around a bit more, but if one of the previous commenters wants to
send me the URL for their queue I can see if there's something particular about
it. Don't post it here. The queue is mildly private data, in as much as any of
your Netflix usage is private. Your watch instantly feed URL can be used to
determine feeds for your reviews and rental activity, so not wanting to share
that information would be completely understandable.

Same issue here. Running the latest 10.5.x, seemed to stop about a week ago,
but not sure of the exact date. Didn't seem to correspond to any apple software
updates. I have heard acme grumblings about a revised Netflix API ANSI noticed
a few visual differences with the web interface.

Seeing the same thing here...tried to delete and re-add queue but no luck. Was
going to uninstall and reinstall Understudy then I saw this defect.

I've confirmed that an issue exists with another user's feed that isn't loading.

I too am having the same issue. I just started using Front Row a week ago, and
had access to my Netflix cue through Understudy for the whole first day. The
next day, however, it was gone... and no amount of uninstalling, reinstalling,
(with and without swearing) has made it come back.

I am having the same issue. Both my "New to watch Instantly" and "Instant
Watch Queue" are empty, where they were previously working. The "Netlix
recommends" list that I made by grabbing the url from the Netflix RSS listings
page probably 3 weeks ago still works.
In addition, I when back to the netflix RSS page and copied the instant queue
url and Understdy gave me an error saying it is an unsupported stream. The
current netflix rss URLs look like this:
Queue
http://rss.netflix.com/QueueRSS?id=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Queue To Watch Instantly
http://rss.netflix.com/QueueEDRSS?id=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Neither are working for me. Reinstalled latest v of understudy to no avail.

It looks like Netflix is encoding certain characters correctly in a way that
causes problems for the XML parsing library Understudy uses. If I feed
http://www.netflix.com/NewWatchInstantlyRSS into the W3C's validation tool, it
complains about the description of the show Psych, which includes the actor
Dulé Hill (note that the queue data is subject to change).
If you're having problems with your queue loading, try using the validator at
http://validator.w3.org/check and see if there is a warning about "Character
Encoding mismatch". If you set the character encoding explicitly to UTF-8, the
validator should indicate what line the error is on, which you can use to
identify what entry is causing problems. As a temporary work-around, you can
remove items from the queue.
I hope to have a work-around built into Understudy soon.

Netflix seems to have fixed the encoding on their feeds -- the entries that
were causing problems before are okay now. If anyone is still having problems,
please speak up.

I am still having problems. The "New Movies to Watch Instantly" option is
working but I cannot get my personal queue to show up. It looks like when I
click on it a box opens up to type in but then immediately disappears. Help!
