The latest model of Apple Remote does not work when playing netflix #171

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

The remote operates as expected when navigating to the movie title and starting
the play. However, when the movie is playing the pause button does not work. In
fact only Menu button works.

What is the expected output or result?

Pause/Play button should pause the movie and resume

What do you see instead?

No reaction to play/pause button

I have a fix for this in the works, but the remote support is specific to each
video source. What kind of video are you accessing through Understudy?

Netflix streaming is the source. I don't use any other sources, so I can't
really say if it works right in the other sources.

I don't have an aluminum remote handy, but the 0.09 release should work with
both styles of remote.

Thank you! Kirk
I don't know if this is just timing fluke but one day to fix a problem is an
awesome response time.

Did a quick test. Confirmed working! I agree with commenter 6: phenomenal
response time!
Do you accept donations somehow? I'd love to support the project.
