4 needed features #902

No cons.

Only needs more helpful features l

1) Automatic play next file, without have to select folder.

2) Option to boost volume above 100%.

3) Media thumbnail.

  2. What are you trying to become deaf?
  3. Won't be implemented in mpv, but you can fork and make your own

Anyhow make sure to try next player- based on exo and has the features you mentioned

  1. For only, when using without headphones, viewing from phone, two or three persons together, it is very helpful.

  2. I've tried Next player before, it's only video player, can not detect or play any audio file. Is there any technical limitation or privacy logic for not implementing thumbnails in mpv sir?

I'm not a developer sir, just an ordinary user.

try vlc, it checks all your 3 three requests and it's also open-source. There's no "privacy logic" thingy for not implementing that feature, it's that this project tries to keep features to a minimum, though, thumbnails might just be part of being a little lazy but that's okay since I don't see as many people contributing here and it's very much possible that the maintainer is busy with other stuff irl or something.

Mpv is a minimal command line player, everything else is bloat.

Understand. For this maybe, I've seen that it has less latency in streaming video than VLC also. And fast response to every operation.

Yeah, that's why it's best to keep it minimal
