Why is age-based culling more effective for young raccoons? #34

Thoughts

  1. Age-distribution
  2. Age-dependent R for the raccoons
  3. Also discussed the fact that for ages below 12 you are not culling all year because reproduction only occurs once per year.

TODOs

  1. Look at the number of new babies produced. Ricker recruitment leading to overcompensation/undercompensation...
  2. Simulate age 1-12 to see how the transition changes
