No active document message #105

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download & Install windows exe
2.Open program
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Program should run.  It doesn't.  It constantly pops up a "No active document" 
error, clicking ok just leads to another being shown until you give up and end 
the process in task manager

No log files.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7.  v3 beta.

Please provide any additional information below.

Meh, that's an old v1 version, should be clearly marked as such.

Annoying.

Use XP comptibility mode (right click on EXE and properties)
