Defaults lost on upgrade #169

Perhaps there's a workaround for this but when you update your "modified" 
defaults gets overwritten. If those were stored in different locations (i.e. 
default defaults and modified defaults) settings could be retained.

I don't understand, user defaults are stored in config.xml together with every 
other piece of configuration. Just copy that file and you're all set.
