Image not updating from source file (cached)

***What steps will reproduce the problem?***
1. Insert image and specify image file to load.
2. Modify contents of image file or replace file with another image that has 
the same file name.
3. Select the image in DIYLC and 'Edit selection'.
4. Load same image file name (should be new contents). 

***What is the expected output? What do you see instead?***
Expected:
Image changed to new contents.

Actual:
No change, cached image.

***What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?***
V3.27.0 on WIndows 7 SP1

this is expected. Try importing image into photoshop or corel. It would also 
mean that you have to ship the image together with your diy file.

Thanks for your reply.
Would it not be possible to update the cached version with the new file 
contents EACH TIME you select 'Click to load image file'. I understand the 
image's contents are stored in the file once saved to ensure portability.

At the moment the only way I can get the image to change once I have altered it 
(in photoshop etc) is to use a new file name each time or close the program 
then re-open, double click on the image and re-select the same file path.
