Trouble releasing selected components #235

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select a component.
2. Click elsewhere on the screen.
3. Originally selected component is still selected, instead of being deselected.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect that when I have a component selected, and click elsewhere, that 
either everything is deselected, or the component I clicked on is selected 
instead.

Very often, I'll have a component selected, checking the properties, etc. When 
I double click a different component, the other stays selected, and I see the 
same properties again. This is quite confusing. I feel a single click on any 
component or blank space should deselect the current component.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.27.0 - Win7 home, 64 bit.

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm really loving this program!

Even though I thought I had read all the other issues, I see there are a couple 
pertaining to the same issue. Sorry for the duplicate, there's a log file 
attached if it helps.
