Dunno how feasible this is (I'm guessing it'd probably involve a combination of boot ROM and FPGA changes, at least) but:
I'm planning some hardware tests with an actual Satellaview unit I purchased recently and it would be useful to have direct access to the hardware registers without the sd2snes also providing emulated versions at the same time. I already have an older FPGA image without it but it'd be nice to continue using fully up-to-date firmware for both this and other regular usage.
