"<<" fails to render as metadata #182

It shows up as blank. (ref: Outside the Box puzzles, year 7 rows garden, puzzle 21)

This is true in other fields (like the puzzle title). It also happens for PUZ files in the puzzle title (albeit not the clues). Anything before the "<<" renders fine; anything including and after it is dropped. It works fine in JPZ, I presume because they must be escaped. I suspect something is treating these plain-text strings as HTML?
