as far as I see it we have a real problem here => alpine removed php from its package-repos (see https://www.alpinelinux.org/posts/Alpine-3.17.0-released.html) so we should switch to the php-alpine baseimage. Anyone who is willing to help with that?

ArchBlood commented 10 months ago

Seems it only dropped support for PHP 8.0, so PHP 8.1+ should work shouldn't it? https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/commits/3.18-stable?search=php

I can give it a try. Do you want we go for php82 directly ? or we try php81 first ?

Related point: I found the base/etc/phpX dir is still php7.

https://github.com/mriedmann/humhub-docker/pull/332 Tested (quickly) on a sandbox deployment.

The migration to php82 is not that straightforward. It seems some package still depends on php81.
