maybe make it also work for icons in vertical mode?

I change my mind, vertical icons should have their own interface

maybe include a way to differentiate between rotate cw and ccw?

there should be an easy way to style specific icons like greenflag in vertical mode, and an easy way to style any icon in horizontal mode

The icon class in horizontal is probably good enough, since all images are image tags anyway
