This is an initial upgrade from Angular 2 RC3 --> 2.1.1. There are some known todos coming out of this that will require follow up work:

• Cleanup extension switching and our map/path settings.
• Reduce boilerplate by only requiring globals file if component actually declares / requires a singleton.

This has been testing by three different people now, the only other issue that has been raised is:

• Component locations are limited by map/path settings, need to solve this.

Merging for now, will create follow up issues.
