I enjoy using gtranslator because it has a nice clean interface and a nice translation memory function. However, most of the time I also find myself missing ability to simply see the po-file content, with all the different kinds of comments and so on, just as it is in the file.
Therefore I will propose a "raw mode" plugin for GTranslator. What it should do is to replace the message table part of the interface view a source view window that displays the po text representation for the current message, possibly padded on top and bottom with the previous and next messages.
One thing that I have been wondering about when I was thinking about this feature (and about whether or not it is something that I could contribute to myself) is if it is actually possible, from the python extensions to:
1: Modify the GUI
2: Tap into the "change current message" and general "update gui" functionality/signals
Hallo gtranslator devs

Therefore I will propose a "raw mode" plugin for GTranslator. What it should do is to replace the message table part of the interface view a source view window that displays the po text representation for the current message, possibly padded on top and bottom with the previous and next messages.

Let me know what you think.
