What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Save Placemarks as KML from Google Earth
2. Open the KML file with a text editor and compare coordinates
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What GE has: -96.009194 What KML has:-96.00919373428737 (longitude)
What GE has: 35.624345 What KML has: 35.62557073473192 (latitude)
It is just happenstance that the Long, above, appears to be nomal roundoff.
With other placemarks, it is not just roundoff. When I put the KML coords back
into Google, they plot maybe 200 yards or so from the original point.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
5.1.3535.3218
Please provide any additional information below.
Maybe I just don't understand the format that is being used when the KML file
is created?? I have set the language to English. Google coords are being
displayed in decimal degrees. I would prefer the KML file to also have decimal
degrees ( that agree with Google!)
