multiple utorrent modules #250

I like the option to add multiple utorrent modules.

I use one utorrent client for movies and one for series.

Thanks.

We are still unsure wether we are going to allow more than one for each module in the interface. Have to discuss it a bit more but not in the top of our priorities.

I was thinking the same for XBMC libraries for control, or the ability to add multiple XBMC hosts so you can send movies/music/series to any XBMC station in your house without have to use another application or controller if you didn't want to.

umm. You can already have multiple XBMC hosts. Set them by using the XBMC servers tab in the top right menu.

gugahoi commented 11 years ago

Ok, this is crazy. I thought it was kind of obvious one could set up multiple hosts. We definitely need to put some kind of tutorial in mara somehow, maybe make some videos showing how to use and/or set it up...?

I've already drafted up some stuff and will integrate some YouTube videos in. I'm going to make it look interesting and easy to use too. :)

titan04 commented 11 years ago

It is clear, I meant without having to switch host to start a show or movie on a system on the play or in a module have the option to send to multiple xbmc host. Just some added functionality to what is already there, just an idea and sorry it wasn't very clear and my original post does sound bass ackwards.

Actually after playing more with the UI, I added an indicator bar for which host was selected that you can always see (should add support for show/hide) That way there is no question and no navigation required to see what host you have selected to send to. I will modify it some and put in a separate problem for this with a video showing it to see if you want to integrate it.

not allowing the ability to add multiple modules, which are the same, is a HUGE oversight. The IP Camera module is a perfect example of the need for this where there is no acceptable solution other than allowing multiple modules. What if someone has 2, or 3, or 6 cameras and they want to see them all on the same screen at the same time? If M is to be a great dashboard then a rethink of the way it should work is in order IMO.
