connect to localhost port 12900 (tcp) failed: Connection refused #30

I have tried to install graylog2 into my ubuntu 12.04 instance from Linode with running install_graylog2_90_ubuntu.sh script. And having the issue:

connect to localhost port 12900 (tcp) failed: Connection refused

and unable to complete the installation. Any help will be appreciated.

Seems like there is something wrong with registered graylog2-server service. /etc/init.d/graylog2-server [re]start works still. This issue has been fixed, and API port is now connecting from web interface. However I cannot open web interface from my browser. Opening a new ticket about that.

This has been resolved in the script.
