what about an option to cache the fanart and poster downloads in an folder
with the movie imdb in a selectable directory?

hmm, because most times i first see that the fanart has a bad quality, when i 
watch
it at full size and then emm needs to download the whole fanarts again. I think 
it
would also be ok, if emm keeps the files in cache until you close it.

Done for next release.

There is an option to enable the cache and an option to have the cache persist
between sessions.

Re-opened this as a reminder that I need to add caching to the updaters as well 
(now
it's just enabled on single-scrape)
