Achievements

Everything is better with achievements. Let's add some. Feel free to weigh in with ideas. Ideas with a [+] indicate multi-level achievements like new aiprorts x1, x5, x10, x25, x25, etc

• [+] Airports "That's 10 unique airports"
• [+] Airlines "That's 25 unique airlines"
• [+] Airport visits: "That's 10 visits to SIN!"
• [+] Airline flights "That's 20 flights with SQ!"
• [+] Taking sides: x flights within an alliance
• [+] Neil Armstrong: You flew to the moon!
• [+] Phileas Fogg: RTW trip that only goes in one direction and ends within x km of the origin or at the origin
• [+] Magellan: Circumnavigated the world (by distance)
• [+] Commuter: Flew the same route x times in a year
• [+] Vexillologist: Visits to countries, adding flags
• [+] Up in the air: flew a million miles

• [+] Frequent Flier: # of flights in a calendar year
• [+] Cheapo: # of flights on low cost carriers
• [+] Expense Account: # of Business or First flights
• [+] Stretching out: # of flights in exit row (need to add exit row to user-entered metadata, something I actually thought about before but never did)
• Long Haul: badges for the world's top 10 longest non-stop flights, and badges for long itineraries with layover under 3 hours (e.g. 24 hours on a plane with just a short layover should be a badge)
• Going nowhere: Same departure and arrival airport (e.g. sightseeing in a helicopter)

Maybe some geographic ones? E.g. "Euro Trip" for flights inside europe, "Gap Year" for flights around S-E asia. Could add a "home airport" profile item so that they can be more relevant

• "Home for the holidays" - flights on thanksgiving, xmas [edit: or maybe a trip that spans it and returns at the start]
• Happy New Year if you're in the air at midnight jan 1
