Can't automatically load preview when using up and down arrows on Ubuntu 16.04 #18

I saw at the YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2qt9H5G5KQ that it may possible to automatically load preview when using up and down arrows, why can't I make it? Each time when I want to preview a new item, I must knock space on the keyboard to shutdown the old one. What's wrong?

And there is no response when I knock up and down arrows with preview windows open. However, left and right do work.

It seems can't on Windows nether.

Same problem here on windows. How could we make it work ? it would greatly improve my workflow.
