A quick mention that on Blender v4.0.2 and a few earlier v3.* versions tried, the following Python module error is produced on activating the addon on a Debian 12 GNU/Linux system:

As a temporary fix on this GNU/Linux system, I manually extracted the ZIP to 4.0/scripts/addons/ and renamed it to simply starscape. Then installed the addon using the interface. The module would then import.

Yes, addon folders cannot have "." in their names.
