Can't type in google docs #116

I am unable to type in Google Docs documents through gmdesk. I can type in 
Gmail or in a spreadsheet, but not in a new or old document. The cursor blinks, 
but when I press the keys nothing happens. I can type on that same page to 
change the name of the document, but not in the main part of the window.

While trying to get it to work, I got the occasional error message reading 
"Google Docs error - Google Docs has encountered an error. We are looking into 
the problem now."

I am using version 1.01 on Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bit.

I have exactly the same problem. I cannot type into a new google doc or edit an 
old one. I can't paste text either. I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 with Firefox. This 
just started with the most recent FF update, I believe.

2013 and I still have this problem sometimes, no explanation, no solution
